Best New Years Eve yet!

So I've had a lot of people ask me about the proposal, so here is the story!

12/31/2010

I went over to Cameron's house for a New Year's Eve party. Since I wasnt there for Christmas I had gifts to open. He had me open a gift at 7:30, 8:30, 9:30, 10:30 & 11:59. The box to open at 11:59 was a ring box wrapped up. I kept getting mad at him for making me wait until 11:59 to open that one. At about 10:15, some of his siblings started lighting candles...I kept thinking, thats weird...he's not proposing until midnight, when I open the 11:59 present. Our song was even playing. I was leaning against him at 10:26 waiting to open my 10:30 present, his heart was beating sooooo fast. I was still so confused EVEN when his brother was holding a video camera. Still oblivious because I thought he was proposing at midnight. His family does a gingerbread village every year, this year they had a Disneyland theme. They had a Sleeping Beauty castle from the gingerbread village castle still up, in front of their Christmas tree. 10:30, Cameron has me sit down in front of the castle and open the present with him. It was a letter. He read the letter to me, while I was looking at it I had finally realized that he was proposing! I saw the, "will you marry me?" at the end of the letter and started tearing up. Of course I said "yes!" My ring was hidden in the castle behind a little fake plant. I had walked by that castle numerous times that night and had NO idea! It was the most perfect night, I can't wait to become Mrs. Beck and have Cameron forever!

Oh and we're getting married June 11, 2011. :)

Here are some pictures from the night...
